Working Principle of VT-1C Desert cooler.

Fan motor is responsible to rotate fan to suck air through wet cooling pad and through it front side. Water pump is responsible to pump water on cooling pad continuously so that it will always wet condition. Cooling pad maintain moisture so that when fan sucks air through it, air should be get cooled.

When you start unit, first water pump will start which will pump water from water tank to top of cooling pad. This pumped water discharges at top of pad and hence it make pad wet. Pump continuously pumps water and keep cooling pad wet. After delay of two minutes fan motor will start. This fan motor sucks air through wet cooling pad. When air passes through cooling pad, due to evaporation temperature of air drops and cold air thrown front site.

Water pump transport the water from water tank to the water distribution and cooling pad at the same time. Air goes through the cooling pad, water evaporation dry away the surrounding heat and caused the drop in temperature of air. The water continuously wetting the cooling pad surface, the wind evenly through the cooling pad, absorbing heat from the air, transforming into cool air.
