What is a desert air cooler?

It is a simple air cooler that works on the evaporative principle, designed to deliver high airflow. A high horsepower motor fan is used along with a considerable size of the cooling pad so that more air can be cool. These units have large capacity tanks to run for the longer timer. So, how does it work? A powerful fan motor pulls outside air through the wet cooling pad. A submersible water pump keeps the pad moist all the time. When hot air passes through a sticky pad, heat gets transferred from the air to the water, and hence it gets cold.
